OSTEOPATHY CLINIC

Osteopaths treat a wide range of mechanical problems from simple joint strains to more complex problems involving several areas of the body and treatment techniques vary depending on the person and the particular problem so it is quite safe for all ages from babies to the elderly. Geelong Osteopathic & Healthcare Clinic conduct daily sessions at Medical Centre 291 and see patients of all ages with many different problems from sport, work related or car accident injuries to arthritis and common low back strain. Appointments are available Monday – Saturday by telephoning 9731 1111 or on enquiry at reception during surgery hours.


  REMEDIAL MASSAGE

      Mr. Craig Murchie

 

 

 

Remedial massage utilizes the healing properties of massage. A Remedial Therapist may use a variety of treatment techniques including specific deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, stretching and joint articulation. Treatment sessions can be 30 min,40 min or 60 min. Gift vouchers are also available for purchase.

Pediatrician

     Dr Kevin Dunne

 

 

 

Dr Kevin Dunne has relocated  his pediatric service from 297 Princes Hwy, Werribee to our Medical Centre on every Fridays. You will be required to have a GP referral letter to see him.

 

ANTENATAL CARE

    Dr Peggy  Zeng

 

 

 

 

Dr. Peijian (Peggy) Zeng  is a credited antenatal care doctor who has share care right with Royal Women's Hospital and Sunshine Hospital.


NURSING SUPPORT

     Nurse  Jay Pace

 

 

 

Jay Pace is a Registered Nurse, who is qualified to give immunisation. She is also qualified to help people who would like to give up smoking. Jay is  also helping doctors to do Health Promotion and Prevention, Health Assessment and Chronic Disease Management. She works Tuesdays and Thursdays.


COUNSELLING

     Mr. Len Hawes

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Len Hawes (B.Sc Psychology/Counseling) has been counselling for over 15 years and has achieved significant success and positive results with the people who have sought his assistance. His areas of expertise are Relationship issues, coping with Life issues, Fears and phobias and Life Controlling problems. Sessions are 60 minutes.

 SOCIAL WORKER          Mark’s work includes providing therapy,   

    Mr. Mark Gordon              supervision and training. Mark believes strongly in supporting and working with communities and

                                             groups of people in responding to hardship and trauma. Mark also sees a broad range of

                                             possibilities for people joining together to address issues

    


 FOOT &  LEG PAIN

     Ms Christina Pulvirenti

 

 

 

Christina graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry).   Christina treats aches and pains of the feet, legs, knees, hips and backs, as well as work, sports and recreational  related injuries, assists with bunions and adolescent growing pains,  is equipped to undertake minor surgery and can give specific advise on proper footwear selection.      The Foot & Leg Pain Clinic specialises in assisting people of all ages with foot and leg pain and biomechanical problems.   They are experts in prescription orthotic therapy with a reputation for being able to assist patients when others have not.          Appointments are 30 mins on Tuesdays between 2 pm – 8 pm
